Join us for our Community Wide Garage Sale. If you are looking to get rid of your old stuff, rent a booth at our sale and leave all of the advertising up to us! Plus the weather is guaranteed to be great inside of our gymnasium.

Minimum: 15 booths Maximum: 35 booths
Note: Each booth will receive one table. If you need more they are available to rent for $5 each and must be paid for at time of registration. Set up will begin at 7:30 AM.
Wednesday, October 30th
Grab your flashlights, load up the kids and head to Fischer Field where there will be thousands of pieces of candy scattered on the field. We will divide the kids into age groups for the children’s candy scramble and will have prizes for our costume contest winners in three age groups: Child I (9-12 years), Child II (5-8 years), and Tot (4 and under).

Location: Fischer Field in Athletic Park
Note: Please pre-register by calling NRC and let us know how many will be attending. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian age 18 and over. Bring a flashlight and wear your costume!

SAVE THE DATE! Mark your calendars and join us for our 36th Annual Christmas Market. You can do all of your Christmas shopping in one day! Craft vendors will be here selling their unique & beautiful handmade items. Direct sales vendors will also be here, such as Paparazzi Jewelry, Color Street and Scentsy. Winners of door prizes donated by the vendors will be announced throughout the day.

All aboard! Join us on the NRC Express for a special Christmas Light Tour! The bus will be decked out in Christmas lights and the music will be festive. Our driver knows the BEST places in Wichita to visit for a magical evening filled with millions of twinkling lights! We will visit several places including Reindeer Road, Candy Cane Lane, The Arc’s Lights, Lights on Texas, Faulkner Street and more! What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than to sightsee as a family or with friends!
Time: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM approximately/loading begins at 5:50 PM . The bus will leave the parking lot at 6:00 PM sharp, please arrive early.
Fee: 4 yrs and Under FREE
5 yrs and Up: $12 per person
Family of 4: $35 (each additional person $6)
Ages: All Ages; all youth MUST be with an adult 18+
Location: Newton Rec Center; 415 N. Poplar St. (light tour will be out of town)

Note: Participants MUST pre-register. Tour is approximately 3 hours, including drive time. If a restroom break is needed this may add 30 minutes to our tour. There are NO restrooms on the bus.
