Where is Our Rabbit?

EASTER SCAVENGER
Monday, March 25th - Friday, March 29th

 

We need your help finding him! Decode a daily message to find out where the NRC Rabbit is hiding! Each day NRC's Rabbit will be hiding somewhere in Newton. He will change locations each day. Once you find him you will pick an egg from his basket. Bring this egg to the Rec Center (415 N. Poplar St.) and see what you've won! Only 1 egg per person per day allowed. Prizes include candy filled easter eggs, toys gift certificates, coupons for local businesses, and more!

 

EASTER SCAVENGER HUNT RULES

  1. Our bunny can be found around town daily from 2pm-6pm Monday, March 25th - Friday, March 29th.
  2. NRC staff will post a clue about our bunny's location at 1:00pm each day during the hunt dates on our private Facebook page: Where Is Our Rabbit - Easter Scavenger Hunt.
  3. Each child registered may take one egg per day from the bunny's basket. The scavenger hunt will run for five days so each participant may have up to 5 eggs total. Inside each egg will be a slip of paper, do not lose this paper. It is linked to your prize. If you do not have it you will have to wait until all other prizes are picked up to receive your prizes.
  4. Bring your egg(s) to the front desk at the Rec Center (415 N. Poplar) to receive your prize(s). Adults may not bring in eggs without their children, children must be present. You can bring your eggs in each day or you can collect them and bring all your eggs in at once. Don't wait too long though, please bring your eggs to the Rec enter by Saturday, March 30th

 

FAQ’s:

Q: WHAT IS THE COST OF THE EASTER SCAVENGER HUNT?

A: It is $4 per child

 

Q: WHAT AGES CAN PARTICIPATE? I AM AN ADULT WHO WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE, CAN I?

A: This scavenger hunt is for families with children ages up to 12 years. Unfortunately, for this program adults are not allowed to collect eggs.

 

Q: DO WE HAVE TO TURN IN OUR EGGS TO THE REC CENTER ON THE SAME DAY WE FOUND THEM?

A: No. You can collect an egg each day and bring them in all together to receive your prizes at one time. However, you only have until Saturday, March 30th to do this.

 

Q: I AM A GRANDPARENT/CARE TAKER, CAN I DO THIS SCAVENGER HUNT WITH MY GRANDKIDS/KIDS IN MY CARE?

A: Yes!
