The Makerhaus Day

Mondays, June 15th - August 3rd

Makerhaus Day is a hands-on STEAM enrichment program designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving through art, design, engineering, and imaginative play. Participants will engage in age-appropriate projects that encourage experimentation, creative thinking, and exploration in a supportive small-group environment. Each class includes guided activities, interactive warm-ups, and take-home creations that celebrate the learning process.

Participants will explore a variety of materials and techniques while building confidence, collaboration skills, and a love for discovery.

Tinkerlings (Ages 2-4)
Time: 8:30 AM - 9:15 AM
Class 1: Everything Changes - What can a shape with imagination become? Paper Plate Caterpillar - Pac Man Lentils - Butterfly to Flower - Symmetry Squash Paint
Class 2: Move It! - What happens whe we "Let Go"? Gravity Splat - Marble Painting Art - Skewer Towers - Watercolour Hair 

Artisans (Ages 5-8)
Time: 9:45 AM - 11:00 AM
Class 1: Sculpturistic -  How do you make something that stands on its own? Magic Mountains - Rainbow Sculpture - Paper Sculpture - Torn Paper Rolled Sculpture 
Class 2: Color-it Abstract - How much can you make fro how little? Colorful Block Symmerty Press Art - Piet Mondrian Art - 3D Twig Art - Fine Motor Dot Resistance 

Inventors (Ages 9-12)
Time: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Class 1: Controlled Chaos - How dose force leave a mark? Roller Coaster Marble Art Challenge - Vertical Marble Maze - Squeegee Dot Art 0 Rock-Guided Line Sculptures
Class 2: Layered Maximalism - What happens when more is more? Abstract Meditation Art- 3D Tear Paper Plant Sculpture - 3D Lisa Frank Animal - Dale Chihuly (as grand finale installation) 

Fee: $30 per child, per single session class (all supplies included) 
or $99 Monthly (four classes) Session I: June 15 - July 6 Session II: July 13 - Aug 3

Registration Deadline: Friday prior to each class
