After exploring patterns, mandalas, and new creative techniques throughout the season, it's time to make something uniquely yours. Mandala Studio: Explore & Create encourages you to experiment with a variety of artistic mediums before choosing your favorite to design and complete a personalized mandala from start to finish.
Whether you enjoy paper collage, mixed media, fiber art, drawing, or painting, this class provides the guidance and creative freedom to explore new possibilities while developing a finished piece that reflects your own style.

Experiment with a variety of creative techniques before selecting the medium for your final project.
Week 11 – Mediums Sampler I
Explore paper collage, fiber art, weaving, and string art while creating small practice pieces in a relaxed, hands-on environment.
Week 12 – Mediums Sampler II
Experiment with mixed media and drawing while learning basic color theory, including warm and cool colors, complementary colors, and value. Choose the medium for your final artwork.
Apply everything you've learned throughout the season to create a finished mandala that reflects your personal creativity.
Week 13 – Build, Part 1
Plan and begin constructing your personalized mandala using your chosen medium.
Week 14 – Build, Part 2
Develop your composition by adding patterns, layers, and creative details while refining your design.
Week 15 – Build, Part 3
Add color, texture, shading, and finishing elements as your artwork comes together.
Week 16 – Build, Finish & Share
Complete your mandala, add final details, and share your finished artwork in a relaxed and supportive class setting.
